What a mess…part 2

Heading up to the bedrooms… Every room has a bathroom. Walking into the childs room and dang! Look at this mess! Toys and clothes are thrown everywhere! The floor is covered with toys! Legos. Ugh! They are the worse toys in the world to pick up. Who invented these things? Why? Yeah, they look cool when they are put together but when they are not and are thrown all over the place, then they are not cool at all. Picking up toys and clothes should not be a part of the cleaning process. It is time consuming and aggravating. Having to constantly bend over or kneel down to pick up this mess will turn the best cleaner off. So, if you are one who pays to have your home cleaned, make your kids pick up their rooms. You will have a much better clean if you do. Have a good day. Thanks for reading.

What a mess…part 1

So, you go into a home and you think, “Oh this is not so bad.” The house is pretty big. The rooms are large which makes it pretty easy to move around in. You walk around, find the kitchen and BAM! Dishes are filling the sink! You think to yourself how in the world can you clean this kitchen with all these dishes in the sink? The customer is aware that cleaning the dishes is not in the contract. So what do you do about it? Ugh! Leave them? Clean them? Or move them out of the way? Either way the dishes are a problem and having them there in the way will take up time dealing with it. In order to get a good looking clean and make the customer happy, those dishes need to go. So, find room in the dish washer if there is one and try to clean whatever is left. Explain to the customer again about the contract and about how cleaning the dishes is not in it. The customer has to realize that cleaning the dishes could potentially turn out to be a dangerous thing. If you break a glass and cut your hand or cut yourself with a knife could be very harmful. The next visit if the dishes are piled up again, find a clean spot and arrange the dishes in a nice pile. When you go back again and the dishes are a piled up mess, leave the dishes. So, if you are one of those people who pay to get your home cleaned, consider the one doing the clean and please make sure your dishes are already cleaned and put away because the person cleaning your home has no interest of cleaning up your dirty dishes and those dirty dishes create a mess for the rest of the home because once the worker has finished washing your dishes, they will be uninterested in cleaning the rest of the home. So, until next time, take care and thanks for reading!

The morning hours

After waking, before setting off to work, it would be nice to enjoy peace and quiet. A cup of coffee, talk radio, and a good breakfast. Sounds good huh? When there is a spouse and children in the home, peace and quiet is only a dream. The best thing to do is keep a smile on your face even during the worst mornings to try to make the transition a smooth one or my favorite is to sneak out of the house before anyone wakes. Which is nearly impossible. On an occasion or two, I have been able to get away with it. In order to have a proper day at work, it is a must to have the morning hours stress free because bad feelings shouldn’t be carried to work. It doesn’t make for a productive day. Those feelings will stay with you for most of the day. So, take care to keep the peace in the home especially in the morning hours because the morning hours effect the rest of the day. Thanks for reading. Enjoy your morning.

Waking up

The thing about waking up to prepare yourself for work mentally and physically especially when the day consists of cleaning someones home other than your own is a challenging one. Some days the body doesn’t want to move. There are thoughts of not wanting to do this clean today. Ugh! Other days..it’s a different feeling. The mind and body has to be trained to accomplish the task of waking up and wanting to spend your day making someone else happy by cleaning their home. This has to be a passion that is inside of you. If it is not, then throw your cleaning skills out of the window and find another passion. If you wake up and feel any disgust about the home you are scheduled to clean on that day, the clean that you perform for the customer will lack something. It will be a superficial clean. The homeowner pays good for the cleaning service and they deserve their money’s worth. Because without the customer, how could you have the business? So, the thing about waking up and going out to clean for someone else is you have to want to do it happily or it will never work out. Thanks for reading..enjoy your day.
